Changing the Narrative - We are a woman-led company striving for gender parity in a male-dominated field, so we prioritize the performance of works by and the hiring of artists who identify as women, as well as those identifying as LGBTQIA2S+.
Raising the pit and pulling back the curtain - Opera begins with voices, instruments, and a story. Great opera brings other artistic disciplines to the stage in equal measure for a more powerful and meaningful experience.
Art that’s new and matters to you - Stories have the power to challenge, transform, and inspire us to action, and those are the stories we want to tell. We aim to breathe new life into opera by prioritizing works by living and marginalized artists, laying the groundwork for meaningful conversation and change in our communities.
